Typhoon Hagibis made a great scar by hitting all over Japan on October 12, 2019. We have a lot of victims and still have missing people, house loss, lack of lifelines… My thought are with everyone who has been affected by this typhoon. And I wish for an early completion and restoration of usual life
Abiko-city where we live did not suffer from the typhoon very much. However, our community road has been under water since then and other roads are heavily jammed.
In the photo, it is not a lake that you can see over the road. You may see the stick like ones lining in the water, that are electric poles. Our community road is there! As the road is completely under water, we can’t say when it can be used again.
This road had been used by MV Abiko members including me to go to Minivolley practice.
