To control new corona virus, many events including sports activities have been imposed voluntary bans and many facilities have been closed. MV Abiko is, however, trying to continue practicing Mini volley.
Physical activities are needed both for maintaining healthy mind and body. And physical activities are not always a trigger to spread infection. So, it is important to find better ways to control infection and enjoy physical activities at one time. In this article, we would like to show how we try to manage our Mini volley practice for new corona virus prevention.
These are MV Abiko’s measurements;
1. Hand antisepsis when entering and exiting the gym at least
2. Ball must be inflated by using pump (not using mouth)
3. Change air by opening all doors by every games (about every 10 minutes)
4. Never do high fives
Followings are how we did in the last practice
1.Hand antisepsis when entering and exiting the gym at least
Gym provides antisepsis agent in the entrance, though some MV Abiko members brought their own ones.

2. Ball must be inflated by using pump (not using mouth)
Ball is hard because of low temperature in winter time and hard to inflate with pump. But we work hard to keep it clean.

3. Change air by opening all doors by each games (about every 10 minutes)
In such a small gym, we try to change all air between games.

4. Never do high fives
Instead of high fives, we do “air high fives” and ad-lib actions for “nice play” and “never mind” ^^
Everyone, remember that you need to gargle and wash hands when you come home!
If you have other good measurement ideas, please give us your comment.
