MV Abiko usually practices for 2 hours. But some members said 2-hour practice is not enough! Then, in August, we try to practice for 3 hours from 9:00 to 12:00.

Under the situation of wide-spreading COVID-19, we need to be more careful to prevent infection. In addition to our Abiko Rule, we employed new tasks to enhance prevention as follows:

(As COVID-19 has still unknown features, we will keep employ newer and better methods to protect our members, families, friends, co-workers and all people while playing and enjoying mini volley.)

1. Enhancing Ventilation
We open windows as much as possible. In addition, we place electric fans in the reverse position to evacuate the air to the outside.

2. More often Sanitize Hands and Fingers
We sanitize our hands and fingers not only before/after practice, but between games.

3. More often Disinfect Balls
We clean up balls before, after, and between games. If the ball get wet by sweat, we change balls and do the disinfection to keep balls clean.

4. Start Rinse out Mouths
We wear masks as far as possible. And we start rinse out our mouths during practice as well.

5. Employ Electric Whistles
Many circles of Tokyo Mini Volley Association have employed electric whistles for splash prevention. We follow the way and bought one.

We will keep working hard to find the better way to play mini volley with controlling infection of COVID-19. If you have any suggestion and/or idea, please feel free to contact us.
